Vicent Ferri Vila on Salvaje Fest 2025
Vicent Ferri holds a degree in Biology from the University of Alicante, with a specialization in environmental and marine biology. Since 2004, he has been working with the Fundación Victoria Laporta, an organization that has allowed him to grow professionally in the field of conservation and gain extensive experience in areas such as Ecological Restoration, Biodiversity Conservation, Environmental Education, Sustainable Forest and Game Management, Land Stewardship, Organic Farming, and the Training of environmental professionals.
Throughout his career, his passion for nature has been enriched by discovering the power of imagery as a tool for conservation. This journey began through collaborations with Alfonso Lario and José Benito Ruiz, who introduced him to the world of nature photography and to AEFONA (Spanish Association of Nature Photographers). Through this association, he has found a space for inspiration, learning, and meaningful connections with both professionals and enthusiasts who share his passion.
As a result of this synergy between science, conservation, and art, he has led the development of a new line of work within Fundación Victoria Laporta focused on nature photography. The organization has created photo hides, workshops, outreach activities, and various publications that not only strengthen its educational and awareness efforts, but also help to showcase and highlight the beauty of the natural environment and the living beings they strive to protect every day.
