She studied a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and later completed a Master’s in Psychosocial and Community Intervention. Over time, she specialized in environmental psychology, focusing on the two-way relationship between people and their surroundings, the social perception of the species around us, and the many ways to influence attitudes and behaviors.
She found scientific illustration to be an effective way to do this. Although she works on paper, wood, leather, or fabric, her most well-known format is participatory infographic murals, which combine illustrations with text, diagrams, and arrows. For over five years, she has developed these projects in schools, villages, and environmental interpretation centers, with the goal of reconnecting communities with local biodiversity. She has worked with organizations such as SEO/BirdLife, Fundación Biodiversidad, ADALAR, Greenpeace, Diputación de Álava, Gobierno de Aragón, Ecoescuelas, and numerous municipalities and educational centers throughout Spain.
She also shares knowledge about biodiversity and environmental psychology through her podcast Alimoches al habla, articles in science communication magazines, and workshops and talks for both general and specialized audiences.
