Concours de photographie « Oiseaux sauvages » – FIO Extremadura
The “Wild Birds” photography contest is one of the most notable initiatives of the International Ornithological Tourism Fair (FIO), held annually in Monfragüe National Park, Extremadura. Since its creation in 2006, this event has established itself as an international benchmark in nature photography, with a particular focus on birdlife.
With a solid track record and growing prestige, the contest annually brings together professional and amateur photographers from around the world, promoting respect for biodiversity and the value of natural heritage through images. The artistic and technical quality of the submitted works, along with an ethical approach to wildlife, are fundamental pillars of the contest.
“Wild Birds” not only promotes photographic excellence but also strengthens Extremadura’s position as one of the key European destinations for birdwatching and ecotourism.
